  • Foto 2: Into The Past — The impressive formation above is typical of the ancient worn configuration of the Tepoztlan mountains traversed by UA students recently on the one and a half hour climb to the pre-hispanic shrine Tepozteco. The ruins consist primarily of a pyramid and temple dedicated to T epoztecatl, God of Pulque. There is also 9 ball court near the start of the trail on the outskirsts of Tepoztlan. A JO-mile branch highway connects the famous town of Tepoztlan with the Mexico City-Cuernavaca freeway at a point two and a half miles north of Cuernavaca.
  • Foto 1: Setting The Pace — Fred Van Beuren rounds a turn on his way to a clean sweep of the 0-2 liter event. Starling in the pole position he went the 15 laps in the lead. hard-pressed by the second-place Alpha Romeo tvhich trailed by a slim two seconds.
