In this proyect, multiple titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanofibers were synthetized by the electrospinning technique, there were also silver nanostructures like nanocubes and nanoparticles (Ag NPs), those were used to decorate the nanofibers structures in some molar proportions. The materials were then analyzed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energydispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) to fully characterize the morphology and composition of each sample. Various nanofibers were used to run photocatalytic reactions and then a subsequent kinetic analysis for the degradation of methyl orange and methyl red to obtain their respective rate laws.
Key words: nanofibers, electrospinning, photocatalytic reactions, kinetic analysis.
Palabras clave: nanofibras, dióxido de titanio, fotocatálisis.
